My stay at City Center Inn And Suites had some ups and downs. The room was clean and spacious, with a comfortable bed, which was great considering the price. However, the service was inconsistent, and I faced some issues with the facilities that made my stay less enjoyable overall.

Rooms
6.0
I got a large corner room that was roomy and clean, but the amenities were a bit lacking. The bathroom had very low water pressure and the shower handle was a bit sketchy. Overall, it wasn't as comfortable as I'd hoped.
Service
5.0
I found the staff to be pretty hit-or-miss. The check-in was smooth, but some staff seemed rude and unhelpful. I heard a manager being disrespectful to other workers, which left a sour taste in my mouth.
Location
7.0
The location is about a 10-15 minute walk from Union Square, which is perfect for exploring. But, walking back at night felt a bit sketchy due to the visible homelessness in the area.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast options were really limited to just coffee, some sweet pastries, and fruit. I wasn't expecting much, but it definitely felt underwhelming and not very filling.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities definitely felt dated, and I had a few annoyances, like the elevator being down and the loud creaky bedroom doors. The lack of a closet was odd too, considering the size of the room.

5.6/10

I had a pretty mixed experience at City Center Inn And Suites. While the staff were friendly, the location had me feeling unsafe due to the surrounding neighborhood, which was crowded with aggressive individuals. The room was decent enough, but it didn’t quite live up to the photos, and I had some issues with cleanliness and comfort as well.

Rooms
5.0
The room was decent, but it definitely looked nothing like the photos and had some cleanliness issues. It felt a bit cramped, and I wasn’t impressed by the amenities, like the cheap TV and limited bathroom space.
Service
5.0
Generally, the staff were friendly, but there were moments when they came off as rude and dismissive, especially when it involved addressing complaints.
Location
5.0
While the location was good for accessing public transport, I felt uneasy walking through the surrounding areas due to the presence of homeless people and the general state of the streets.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast options were pretty dismal, just some packaged snacks and coffee that didn’t really satisfy. I expected a bit more variety and quality.
Facilities
5.0
The facilities were dated, and I had concerns about safety, particularly with some wiring issues I noticed in the room. Also, the overall upkeep seemed lacking.

5.4/10

My stay at City Center Inn And Suites was a mixed experience. The location was great, as it was just a short walk from downtown, making it easy to explore. However, the parking situation was frustrating, and the breakfast options left much to be desired. On the bright side, the staff were friendly and the room was clean and comfortable.

Rooms
8.0
The room I stayed in was clean with a comfortable bed, though it lacked a closet and felt a bit cramped. It had a fridge and microwave, which were handy, but I did notice some maintenance issues like the shower door not closing properly.
Service
7.0
The staff was friendly and helpful, providing good local tips. However, I did find that the receptionist was often not at the front desk when I needed assistance.
Location
8.0
The location was excellent, being just a 10-15 minute walk to Union Square. However, the area around the hotel felt a bit unsafe at night with many people experiencing homelessness nearby.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was definitely one of the downsides; it mainly consisted of processed pastries and the coffee wasn't great. I was hoping for fresher options.
Facilities
6.0
Housekeeping services were good, and I appreciated the availability of indoor parking, which is essential in San Francisco. The lack of an elevator was a bit of a hassle with my luggage.

5.2/10

My stay at City Center Inn and Suites was a mixed bag. The location was excellent for access to downtown, especially for my conference at the Moscone Center. However, I found the room to be on the smaller side and not the best in terms of sound insulation, which made it less comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful, but the breakfast options were quite limited and didn't set the right expectations.

Rooms
6.0
The room was clean and functional, though smaller than expected. Some fixtures needed repairs, like the shaky toilet cistern. Overall, it served its purpose, but noise from adjacent rooms was bothersome.
Service
6.0
Most of the staff were friendly and attentive, like Ivy, who always made me feel welcome. However, one staff member, Rose, was a bit unfriendly and seemed too preoccupied with her phone.
Location
7.0
The location was perfect for my activities, being close to downtown and a short ride to the Moscone Center. However, the area had its downsides, with many homeless people around, which could feel a bit intimidating at night.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast choices were very limited, just a few pastries and some coffee. It didn’t quite meet expectations, especially for guests expecting more variety.
Facilities
5.0
The hotel had basic facilities, and housekeeping kept the room tidy. However, the lack of an elevator was inconvenient given the small staircase I had to navigate with my luggage.

My stay at City Center Inn And Suites was honestly a mixed bag. While the location is pretty central, which is a plus, the overall experience left a lot to be desired. The breakfast options were pretty lackluster and there were some sketchy feelin' vibes around the area. For the price, I think I expected more from my stay.

Rooms
6.0
The room was simple and clean, but definitely smaller than I expected. I could hear conversations from neighboring rooms at times, which was a bit annoying. The bathroom was okay but could use some renovations.
Service
5.0
Service was hit or miss. Some staff were friendly and helpful, but others didn’t really seem to care much. There was one employee who seemed way too distracted to assist properly, which was frustrating.
Location
6.0
The location is close to Market Street and downtown, which is convenient for exploring, but the street vibe was a bit sketchy. There were a lot of homeless people around, making it feel less safe at night.
Dining
5.0
Breakfast was a letdown, honestly. It consisted mostly of packaged snacks and sugary pastries, not exactly what I’d hope for in the mornings. They started serving at 6:30, which didn’t accommodate early flights.
Facilities
5.0
The place could definitely use some maintenance. I noticed some dangerous wiring and it just felt run down overall. Plus, no elevator made it tough for folks with heavy luggage—or anyone with mobility issues.
